Next Thursday

I had a converstation with my grandpa last night. It went something like this, it took place on a Wednesday.

"Hey i have a band concert this Thursday, well i guess, tomorrow." - Me

"Oh you mean next Thursday?" - PopPop [grandpa]

"No i mean tomorrow" - Me

"Well that is next thursday." - PopPop

"Oh is it? then when is this Thursday?" - Me

"Well i'm not sure, when do you think?" - PopPop

"Wouldn't this Thursday only exist if it actually is Thursday?" - Me

"The world may never know. But see that's how people talk." - PopPop

"You're right, why can't they just say, the Thursday of the week following this week?" - Me

I've never really took the way i said things into consideration, because i've realized that alot of things are like that. It's just intreresting. Then sometimes seeing how that phrase has progressed though history is cool too. Like i was...well, i was "doing my buisness" and i said "howdy" to myself. Don't ask me why. So then i thought, who the heck one day just said howdy? And i thought about it. It sounds like "How do you do?" and you always hear cowboys saying that, and who says howdy? Cowboys. So i think that it was something along those lines, when someone said "Howdy do?" because that sounds extrememly like how do you do. Just my guess. But i thought it was interesting. Sweet.

Whatever tomorrow brings, i'll be there

Lately i've been having bad dreams. I've had some of death, some of being chased, and attacked. I also had a dream and i woke up crying. I don't know why. Also, a few days ago, i realized that i haven't cried in too long it seems. I don't know why. But it seems like it need it. I just continually have this feeling that something horrible is going to happen. I don't know why. I just hope i'm prepared for whatever it is. I think that's why i'm scared, because i don't think i'm going to be ready for it. I'll just live day to day till it happens.

Even though your next to me i still feel so alone

Today was a very interesting day. I woke up to a song that i've never heard, but liked alot. Then i went downstairs for some H.B.O.'s and a newspaper was crying "OBAMA WON," i thought that was interesting. First black president in the history of America, and i witnessed it. Hmm i like it. Then i got in the car to go to school, and my sister was jamming out to the Warped Tour CD, so i was pumped when i got to school. When i'm pumped, i'm pumped. And i have flippin awesome days. Today was one of those days. Recently i got a girlfriend, her name's Myriah, and she's awesome : ]. So i got to school and saw her, and seriously, what's better than seeing your kick a** girlfriend at 7 in the morning? Tell me that and...well i don't know what i'll do, but that's besides the point. So my day started off good, then i got a few test's back in my classes, and aced 'em. Then in geometry, Mrs. Schuster was there, and ya know what that means? BEST GEOMETRY CLASS EVER. Darn right. Well anyways, then my school day continued, so on and so forth. You don't really wanna know about that. But after the bus ride home, i jumped on la computadora and well i thought about blogging. Now, in my language arts class [flippin sweet class] my teacher *name not said for privacy* gave us a blog assignment, and asked for us to reply to one of her posts. Since everyone in the class did it, you could see everyone's blog, so i was snooping around, and found a quiz thing asking "How peaceful are you?" I took it, just cause i'm cool like that. I liked it. I was 96% peaceful by the way. Lol. But i did notice some things.
I live kind of different then most. I'm purty chill. I don't really let much of anything get to me unless it's really big and what not. I don't know, it seems to be a nice way to live though. I haven't really lived any other way, so i wouldn't really be able to compare. But i mean i really have 10 times less hassles than most people. And if i do happen to worry about something. I just jam out to some slow kickin, chill tunes, and life's good. I guess it's like the hippie way of life. But hey i'm most deff. cool w/ that. Lol Even though Cody makes fun of me for it. Whateva yo. Thanks for reading.

Where is the love?

Today, i'm not going to start with "so it's been a long time since i've blogged" because that is obvious, and i've used it in like the last 4 blogs, lame. So i think that blogging is now going to be like a weekly, or everyother week activity. Well at least till footballs over. Lately i've been mass busy with football, and hockey, and school, and chillin wit ma bois [yes I used i, got a problem?]. Lol, so i haven't had very much time to be able to blog. But i do have much to tell, yes. MUCH to tell. I think i shall split this bad boy up into sections again today.

Where is the love?
The other day i was chillin with my buds Mike and Colin, and we were youtubing it up, cause that's what we do. And we came across the "Where is the love?" video, and i never saw it, but it is one of my most favorite songs out there. So we watched it. I was quite inspired by it. I mean i'm a peaceful guy, and i don't like to fight, but it kind of gave me another look at all the social injustices going on. Then today, i was reading the paper, and the front cover had a picture of two men of the darker skin color, and one that wasn't. Above the two black men, it said 'These two men are now felons' and above the white one it said 'He isn't.' Then below the black men, it said that one of them was arrested for jaywalking and then found with one rock of crack on him, and the other black man was arrested for like something with his liscense plate light out, and was found with one rock of crack as well, and i mean of course that's not right. But then i looked below the white man, and he was arrested after a cop chase and he had four rocks of crack and like a crapload of crackpipes, and all this other stuff, and yet HE is the one not getting arrested? Maybe it's just me, but that seems unbelieveably wrong. So really that song is most definitely true, and i very much appreciate it. Go Black Eyed Peas.

Twenty-six point two miles?
I believe that that is how long a full marathon is. Yes, infact it is. My cousin recently asked me if i wanted to run a marathon, and i'm and athletic kind of kid, and i love running, so i thought it was a wonderful idea. Him and I are good buds, and would definitley benefit from it. We are planning on training for pretty much the next year, to prepare. I'm honestly very excited. I think it'll be a challenge to do, so i want to prove to myself that i will be able to. He also recommended me a book called "Ultra-Marathon Man," i started it last night, and I think that it will be good inspiritation. Maybe someday i'll be running marathons regularly. We'll see.

Good for yourself
Lately i've been wondering why i do the things i do. And honestly i can't really find and answer for most things. I really don't know why i play the guitar, or say the stupid jokes that i do. But then i halfway realized something. I think that i do the things i do, because they're good for me. Hockey - it takes out my anger and keeps me in shape and makes great friends. Football is practically the same thing. Track/Runinnng/Riding my bike- it keeps me in wonderful shape, and it's very relaxing and gives me lots of time to think about my life and what i should do. Reading/writing- both enhance my mind in multiple ways and i gain immense amounts of knowledge. Playing musical instruments/Singing- just lets me 'express' myself. I mean that's pretty much most of my life, i think it all works out just fine. So maybe i just made that up in my head, but i think that should be the answer to the question of 'why' do you do things, because they're good for you. I like it.

I guess that's all i've got for today. We shall meet again.

Superguyman to the resue! DU DUDU DU

I was a superhero today. Well i mean, i am EVERYDAY. It's like my job and stuff. But i dressed up like one today, i had blue tights, a shirt with SGM's symbol on it, a cape and a ninja headband. Cool right? Yeah man. It's homecoming week, and it was superhero day, i was about the ONLY kid in the entire school to dress up. Lol it was great. Tomorrows 70's day, so i'm pumped for that, because i can totally fro it out :) woot. Oh man, we started Proofs in geometry today. It was crazy stuff. I don't think i'm gonna take a liking to these. Remeberin all these postulates and properties does not seem like my thang. But hey ya gotta do whatchya gotta do. OH, i also played my first HIGHSCHOOL hockey game. Exciting right? Yeaaaaah i scored a goal too! WOOO. I was pretty pumped. Lol well i geuss that's all the good news i've got to bring for this time. Tune in next time.

Bored.

Random/Callie/French Class/Erika
These were the topics brought to my attention when i posted a bulletin on Myspace about what i should blog about. What i thought of on my own, was a story consisting of mutant banana peals overtaking a grocery store. Honestly, i think my idea was better than all theirs. Lol, but that's just me. I guess i'll just use them all.

Callie
Well lets see. What to say. She's a girl. Yes, definitely a girl. She goes to my school. She sat behind me in science last year. Woo. Umm, we always have discussions about food, which is quite fun. I went to her party last year. For like 15 minutes, i stolled up on my moms bike, jammin with my big headphones. It was exciting. Lol well that's all i've gotta say about Callie.

French Class
Alisha said she was student of the week in French Class. She told me. Yay.

Random
This one goes out to T-Mack. He told me to blog about something random. So i think i'm going to use my story about mutant banana peels overtaking a grocery store as the random part...

It was a normal day at Groceries R' Us, Stan was working the register, and Marleen was bagging. Jeff was doing stock, and there was around 13 people in the store. For some reason, their sale of banana's had gone way down, and Stan noticed this, and asked Jeff to check it out. When he went to see what was up with the bananas, he noticed that they were all on the ground, smashed. "STAN! You've gotta see this!" Yelled Jeff franticly. Stan hurried over, and reacted with a *gasp*. Jeff went and took all the peels, and threw them in the dumpster outside. This angered the peels. They were still very much alive, although they were smashed. But they couldn't move, so they had nothign they could do. The dumpster truck came and picked up the dumpster they were in. IItt ended up taking them to a nuclear waste plant. It was like spiderman - banana peel style. Within in that day, the banana peels escaped their dumpster, and snuck back into Groceries R' Us, and set up in stragtegic positions to take over. Stan, Jeff, and Marleen did not even notice. Soon enough. All the workers were tied up. And the Peels prevailed. Peel Power.
Next time you throw away a rotten banana, think of this.

Erika
She's my last topic for this blog. She's sexy. And her last name is like shaving cream, except it has an l in it. Or it's like "Woah, that's Sliiick...No, it's Erika Shlick!" funny right? Lol. She sits at my lunch table. Awesome.

That's all i've got for this post. Thanks ya'll.

The Change of Life

Yet again, it's been some time since i've blogged. But i've got a lot of ideas flowing through my mind right now. So i think i'm going to divide this one into sections. We'll start out with a topic that i told my language art's teacher that i would blog about, so this one's for you Mrs. Perrin. Lol.

The Teacher Becoming the Student

This topic started in my mind in language arts, hense this one being for my language arts teacher. Crazy, i know. Well our class is prettttty small, we've only got like 18-20 kids in there, so that makes room for quite a bit of empty seats. One day i was just kinda like "Mrs. Perrin we need to do something about these empty seats, i think we should make imaginary people to take there place," so I made an imaginary person for each seat (Isabella's a BABE). Lol, well i named all the seats, and a girl in the class (Daisy) has been drawing pictures of them, so we can get a small portion of what they're like. Annnnnyways, we we're talking about Larry (he's imaginary) and someone said something along the lines of "Jacob, what happens if your people become more creative than you?" and i was like "What? You mean like the teacher becoming the student?" and he/she, can't remember which, said "Yes," so i thought it was an interesting topic to blog about it.

Now that i explained the background, which was probably more information that you wanted to know, i can say what i think.

Well see, i always think of Star Wars when i think of the whole "Teacher becomes Student" thing, because well look at Anikan/Darth Vader, Obi Wan totally teachers him everything he knows, and then Anikan gets more powerful than him, and turns to the darkside and well eventually is the death of him. It seems that this could happen very easily though, because once a teacher teaches a student everything that he/she knows, then the student has more time to gain more knowledge. Well, this was actually a half-way philisophical blog. And that's what i was aiming for. Score. That rhymed. Lol. Next portion...

Gizz to the Angsta's

Recently, i Googled "Ghetto Slang" and this page popped up, and it was quite enjoyable. It had all these gangster slang words, and their definitions. Me and the people at my lunch table, were also talking this, and how all you do is put "a's" instead of "er's" and "awg's" instead of "og's" simple enough, right? WRONG. It's like a whole different language man. Lol, not really, but i mean it's pretty crazy how different it is than how I speak. I guess that's all i've got to say about that...

El Futbol Americano
Football started a while ago, and now that i'm in highschool, it's like 32 times better than middle school. It's a freaking crapload of fun. I'm playing outside line backer and running back, and those are my favorite, it's wonderful. Chillin with my best buds for hours after school, hitting people, running, what's better? Lol, i really don't know. But our varsity team is like beastly as well, and my Uncle is the running back, weird right? It's very weird, i get asked like everyday if he's my bro, and then i have to explain the long elaborate story. Well to sum this small section up, i'll just say this, highschool football rules.

Well that's all i've got to say for this blog. Glad you read it. Now you know 3 more things about my life. Go You!

Woah Now

So it's been quite some time since i've got around to bloggin, and a small idea sparked in my mind, and i'm bored, so i'll get down to it. Highschool started for me this tuesday, and where i live we have 4 different middle schools that go to the highschool, so i've met a LOT of new people. I mean i absolutley love meeting new people, but i've started to notice a trend, that like all the girls are "liking" guys that they don't no didly squat about. I've had my fair share of my own, like i talked to a girl for 2 days on MYSPACE. Never talked to her in person, and BAM she likes me. I don't think this is right. Like I myself have a girl on my mind, but i keep it to myself, because i think you should like take it slow and get to actually KNOW what the persons about. Not just say "oh i like you" cause you think they're cute. That's lame yo. Maybe i'm just crazy, but that's what i think. Thanks.

July 21st

So it's been a while since i've been able to get around to some blogging. So here i am. I was just on vacation in Tennesse for a family reunion, so that was pretty sweet, got to chill with my family for a week. My cousin and I did some fun stuff, took some stupid pictures. We had a good, time. But while i was in Tenn. my football team was learning all their plays and what not. So that sucked for me, cause know i'm all behind and what not. But now i'm back in Ohio, back home. So today was a pretty sweet day actually. I went lifting a little early, and ended up going to see a little of Willetts practice with mike and colin and kooz. Then i went lifting, and then passing and what not. So this dude came up to me, and was like "yo i'll cover you" and he was a varsity DB. So i said sure and then ran my route, and actually did pretty well, but i pulled something in my hip. So that was not cool. But then i went and got my tux fitted for concert band, and then went over Colins and played some ping-pong. That was prettty sweet. And then my mops picked me up and here i am. Had a good dinner (stew junk, yummmmmmm) well that's all i've got. Peace.

July 10th

Yet again i find myself at the end of a very good day. It started out like usually, wake up, eat and then ride to lifting. So i went and lifted and what not, and at lifting, b-town got a good movie idea. unfortunately that's confidential. Lol. So then we went to the highschool to pass, and Josh and I had sooo many passes. It was very tiring. Well then i headed home. I showered and threw on my speed racer shirt. Then i headed off to get some chinese food with Squid. Now that was good time. We went to a chinese resturaunt and could rarely understand the waiter, watched a soap opera and talked about wonderful things. Then we went to k-mart and had a small battle with pool swords, and got some candy necklaces. Then we continued out of k-mart and chilled in a dark alley like rebels. Haha, then i went home. But saw christine on the way home, so i stopped and talked to her for a while. Then i came home, cut the grass, ate dinner, and then christine came over and we chilled for a while. And well that's about all exciting that happened on this lovely day. Thanks for reading : )

July 9th

So today was about the most pointless day i've ever had. I didn't go outside a single time today. How terrible is that? I was so stinking tired. I just laid around with my new blanket. I really don't have any exciting things to share with you. I'm sorry =/

B-Town Camp-in

Wow, i just had a very exciting night. It was b-town ponger camp-in. So we started off, sitting the basement, doing nothing. Then we started talking about stuff, and we decided that we should make a flippin' awesome fort to sleep in. So Colin and I got to work. We started by turnin around the footon (spellcheck) and couch, and putting a mattress acrross that to another thing. Then a table across it as well. Then we brought out the sheets and ducttape, and made a pretty sweet end of the room. Then we closed it off with another mattress. And that was our fort. So then we chilled outside it for a while, and colin was inside puting "B-town" on the wall in ductape. that was pretty sweet. Well then we just chilled in the tent, called people, texted people. Talked about stupid things, like where we're going on our senior road trip, how to build a fort outside, chicks, old tv shows, and who started what. Haha, so it was a good night. And this is my blog about the b-town camp in, good memories. Right on.

July 7th (Although it's July 8th)

So last night was a hectic night, and i did not get a chance to write down what happened. Well the day started out like usually, i get up, eat, then go lifting, but on the way to lifting, my bike started acting up. That frustrated me greatly. Then i arrived at lifting, lifted, and then went over to the football field and played some football with the guys. That was some good old American fun. Then i came home, chilled out, wrote a blog, and continued onto the mall. I was supposed to meet some friends up there, but they never made it. So i sat up at the mall for 3 hours. Alone. Haha, it was great. But i did happen to find an absolutely wonderful deal. I went into the only real music store in our mall (F.Y.E.) and looked around, then i noticed the clearance rack. It said "All used CDs/DVDs with sticker only $0.25" i was like KGj;ldskfajo1`;iu!~ 0.25 cents! That's crazy! So out of my disbelief i asked a worker, and she confirmed it. So then i looked at all the CD's, and obviously i hadn't heard of many of the 25 cent ones. But if you know the song Absolutely (Story of a girl) that's by Nine days. I got there CD and 3 others. And they aren't half bad. So i returned home, and just chilled out. Chatted with friends. And then i found out some very surpirising news, i was being pretty much fought over by 2 girls that barely new me. Haha i found that interesting. Well then my mom kicked me off the computer and i started to read Sherlock Holmes for summer reading, i got a whole 1 page into it. Lol. Well that's about all for yesterday. Thanks for reading.

Is there anyone out there?

Well i'm only 14, but i was in a "bad break-up" i geuss you could say. I know it's just a stupid middleschool thang, but it got me thinking. A few nights later i had a dream about this girl, and i named her Maria(i watched West Side Story that night) and she was like absolutley perfect for me. So lately i've been contemplating on the whole "soulmate" thing. I've been wondering if there really is in fact someone made for someone else. Because it seems that i could be with girls and be happy, but it never works out cause i know i could be happier. I geuss i was just wondering if there really is in fact such a thing as a soulmate. And if there is, then lets hope to God i find Maria.

July 6th

So it's the end of yet another day. Today i'm jammin' out to a little Switchfoot, and all is well. So know is when i tell those who wish to know, about my day. It started out as most Sunday's do. I get up, eat some food, take a shower, get shnazzed up, then head out to church. The mass was pretty nice, we got quite a bit of attention because my Aunt just had a baby, and he was there. So after mass we were chillin' in the hall, and a bunch of people came up with the "aww he's adorable". So my Aunt says, "Ya know on vacation you and Danny (my cousin) should just take him with you guys on a walk, and you're bound to get some ladies," so know my baby cousin is a chick magnet. Niiiiiiiice. Lol. After church we came home, and chilled out, had some mashed potatoes and ya know chatted.I actually chatted with someone i haven't in about 2 months. It was this girl that i like(d) and well i was disappointed =/ it seemed like she didn't wanna talk to me. So that sucked. But then we headed out for a vigorous round of golf. Pop-pop (my grandpa) and I shared a cart, and he showed me some good stuff. Watch out PGA Tour, Step aside Tiger, Jacob's coming through. Lol. Deffinatly not. So then we had a Root, and headed out to Parma for some pizza. We went to Antonios? i belive. My mom said that Drew Carrey ordered like 20 pizzas and had them sent out to hollywood from that place. Cool eh? Well then we came home and i've chatted. That's about all that happened for today. Thanks for reading. If not, well you won't know i said this.

Keep Your Word

I've just come across an annoyance that bothers me very much. It's when people make things just abosultey so public, and then not keep to it. Like peace for example. It seems that all people want is peace. But then they create things that are very unpeaceful. Like they'll always be like "peace and love yo" but then start a fight. I geuss the word for it is hypocritical? I belive so. That has just kind of been bothering me. So i geuss i should, and you should as well keep to your word. Thanks homie.

July 5th

So today's July 5th. A.k.a the day after the 4th of July. It's about 10:30 and I'm jammin' out to some John Mayer. So i guess i will inform those who wish to know about my day. Well today started out pretty slow, woke up and just hung around, then i went over Big Mikes, and we took a long journey out to Guitar Center. And if you've been there, you knwo what i mean when i say that it's like a musicians heaven. You can stinkin' play any guitar you want on any amp. That's amazing. Lol. I've also found the amp i am now offically saving for. It's a beaut. So then we ventured back to his house, discussing our plans on how to make money. We thought of a car wash, a lemonade stand, a grass cutting buisness and many other things. Lol. I think our best bet is the grass cutting thing. But a car wash would always be fun. So then i continue on my bike to Daboo(my grandma)'s house. We had a nice steak dinner, played some cornhole, and chilled on the patio. Well that's about all i got for my day today. Glad you read it if you did. If not, well then you won't be reading this. Mwhaha.

Figure Ourselves, and Hopefully the Weather

This is a little poem that sparked in my mind last night.

I lay in my bed and wonder
About the rain and why it thunders
Why the grass is so green and the sky so blue
Who came up with our language, or even shoes
And why am I the way I am
Why isn't my name Sam?
Why are you who you are
And why aren't we as bright as stars
If God intended for us to be a certain way
Then did we have any say?
Or are we just drawn out by fate
All part of a big old plan
Theres billions of people, and I'm just one man
Just one blade of grass on the lawn of fate
One small raisin in a big huge crate
Maybe one day it'll all come together
And we'll figure ourselves, and hopefully the weather.
